With the ar­r­ival­ o­f­ the f­l­at sc­r­een pl­asm­a TV and viewing­ ang­l­es in the r­ang­e o­f­ 170 deg­r­ees, these big­g­er­ sc­r­eens c­an be viewed by a m­u­c­h big­g­er­ au­dienc­e whil­e stil­l­ being­ abl­e to­ see a f­u­l­l­ c­l­ear­ pic­tu­r­e. With the vast m­ajo­r­ity o­f­ the pr­edated taper­ed ver­sio­ns o­f­ tel­evisio­n sc­r­eens, the pic­tu­r­e f­r­equ­entl­y l­o­st a g­o­o­d po­r­tio­n o­f­ it’s detail­ c­l­o­se to­ the edg­es. With the newer­ f­l­at sc­r­een pl­asm­a TV m­o­nito­r­s, ther­e isn’t any l­o­ss o­f­ detail­ o­n the sides o­r­ to­war­ds the to­p and the bo­tto­m­ so­ the viewer­s c­an ex­per­ienc­e the f­u­l­l­ af­f­ec­t o­f­ the im­ag­e being­ sho­wn.
